No. The current version processes recordings locally in your browser. Screenio's hosting infrastructure serves the application but does not receive the video file created by the recorder.

Yes. Select Screen only before starting the recording.

Yes. Select a mode that includes the microphone and approve the browser permission request.

Yes. Select Screen + webcam + mic. The camera appears as an overlay in the finished recording.

Yes. Firefox uses a compatibility mode for the webcam overlay. Keep the Screenio tab visible while recording so webcam frames continue updating. Screen-only and screen + mic are not affected. Chrome and Edge can use a background-safe webcam mode when supported.

Shared audio depends on your browser, operating system and the source selected in the browser's sharing dialog. Some browsers support audio for a shared tab but not for every window or display.

Screenio prefers MP4 when the browser reports native support. When MP4 recording is unavailable, it uses WebM so the recording can still be created without server-side conversion.

Screenio does not impose a fixed application limit in the current version. Practical limits depend on available memory, storage, browser stability and device performance.

Screen, microphone and webcam APIs are protected browser features. Public deployments generally require a secure HTTPS context.

Make a short test recording, confirm the selected source and audio, close unnecessary applications and ensure the device has sufficient free storage.

Screenio uses Google Analytics to understand site usage and Google AdSense to support the service. Optional Google storage is denied until you accept it through the privacy choices shown on the site. Recording video and audio are not sent to Analytics or AdSense.
